Basis of comparison
All results are compared in reference to one configuration represented by the setup "Male – Euro NCAP Testing position - Middle", which adheres to the requirements of the Euro NCAP Whiplash tests. Resulting loads from this configuration are considered to be "standard" loads. Different seat setting descriptions such as high, low or equal, always refer to the above setting and will inform the user of the rating the seat would receive, i.e. more or less favourable in general.
Seat settings
This seat configuration shows the seat back in a backward position (10° further back than in Euro NCAP tests). The head restraint is positioned in the lowest of the variable positions.

Conclusion
This seat configuration shows an overall slightly higher load on the occupant. The reduced distance between the head restraint and the head compensates somewhat for the seat back being tilted, although this setting still leads to a less favourable situation than when the seat is set in the "standard" setting.
