General Information

The severity of the load level on an occupant is expressed in criteria and numbers. These numbers include mechanical loads such as forces and flexion / extension moments. The injury criteria NIC is based on acceleration and velocity of the head and upper body, or the Nkm which is based on forces and moments on the neck. For further information please click here.
