Basis of comparison
All results are compared in reference to one configuration represented by the setup "Male – Euro NCAP Testing position - Middle", which adheres to the requirements of the Euro NCAP Whiplash tests. Resulting loads from this configuration are considered to be "standard" loads. Different seat setting descriptions such as high, low or equal, always refer to the above setting and will inform the user of the rating the seat would receive, i.e. more or less favourable in general.
Seat settings
This seat configuration shows the seat back set in a forward position (10° tilted forward in relation to Euro NCAP guidelines). The head restraint is positioned in the highest of the variable positions.

Conclusion
This seat configuration shows higher forces and moments, and reduced accelerations on the occupant neck and head. The overall result is slightly more favourable than the "standard" BioRID configuration. Taking into account that load thresholds applied to females is suggested to be lower than to male occupants, this configuration is less favourable for female occupants.
