Basis of comparison
All results are compared in reference to one configuration represented by the setup "Male – Euro NCAP Testing position - Middle", which adheres to the requirements of the Euro NCAP Whiplash tests. Resulting loads from this configuration are considered to be "standard" loads. Different seat setting descriptions such as high, low or equal, always refer to the above setting and will inform the user of the rating the seat would receive, i.e. more or less favourable in general.
Seat settings
This seat configuration shows the backrest set in a backward position (10° further back than Euro NCAP guidelines). The head restraint is positioned at the lowest of the variable positions.

Conclusion
This seat configuration shows higher forces and moments on the occupant´s head and neck. This setting leads to a slightly less favourable condition overall in relation to the "standard" configuration for female occupants.
